And about as reliable, meaning sometimes sometimes they aren't very instant or real time at all.

Mine are always instant. I do Standard-FNB-Discovery rotations all through the month and they all appear within 5 min

I've had two Payshaps one being Capitec to FNB only reflect over night.

FNB used the normal cop out - ask the other bank, Capitec said the same thing
