I don't have a clue! What are you a salami expert? Its so weird once its in your mouth you just want it to stay there for eternity... How do they create such godly flavour? Are you talking about the big rolls or the smaller proper italian salami?

if italian salami is sliced the slices are about 2-3 cm in diameter. Typical salami is probably 5cm in diameter.
I was refering to the imported salami i normally buy DJ, as i really don't like the locally made junk.
I need to stop speed-reading titles... I read this thread's title as "Why is Islam so ridiculously delicious?"
But yes, Salami = nomness factor over 9000!
Locally made depends purely on the recipe used, curing times and conditions used to cure it. The ingredients are all available in SA and I've tasted some decent ones here...
What kind of salt content ?
Who's hiding what? Where?
