Best I can suggest is setting up the debit order on a credit card then transfer the money from your normal banking account to the credit card. That way the debit order will not bounce.

... I don't believe that all of South Africa has bad service...
They did inform me about halfway through last month that they rectified the error as to the debit order date. But beyond that, nothing. I suspect though, that this is because last month's account went unpaid. At the time, I didn't feel I should pay until they had credited my account with the bank charges, I've since realised that if I don't pay them, nothing is ever going to happen. The moment the 16th of July(final date for payment, I think) passed, they cut off my service and started ignoring me. It bothers me, because I didn't cause this problem, and don't feel I should be held responsible for it. I am waiting for the full amount to come off my account now, and then will once again attempt to sort this out.@Simonk. Have you actually heard anything from Vodacom? As ic has said never make the First of the month the due date for your debit order. Have the date changed to a later date and all should be happy. I don't believe that all of South Africa has bad service.
Come on Vodacom you owe Simonk feedback.
