Why Luno uses Amazon Web Services

Luno selected Amazon Web Services for its cloud infrastructure as it allowed the company to easily scale its systems to keep pace with the growth of its customer base and traffic, CTO Timothy Stranex has told MyBroadband.

“We can very quickly spin up additional servers and access virtually unlimited storage,” said Stranex.

That's interesting. You can see that Timothy is proud of their stack and their whole setup really.

I like it. I hope we get more articles like this. I also hope that when we do they explain it in as much detail as this one.

They're ever so polite. If you want to know if you accidentally signed up unbeknowing in a drunken state, just enter an email address and password into the login page. Heck, why not check if your "friends" are registered Luno users too?

Some security features are not platform dependent :)

I'm too scared to find out more about ACT's systems LOL

Because their system was down? There are a number of links in the chain. AWS is one.

So another paid for advert then? Bragging about their platform when at crucial times it didn't perform.

You're all over the place dude. What does them having downtime last year have to do with anything?
