From what I have read on this forum I can't understand why anyone would join Neotel. It doesn't make sense. Perhaps someone could explain it to me?
Don't get me wrong I can't stand Telkom, they have been ripping us off for years. But on my ADSL 4Mb/s connection I normally get at least 3000kb/s to the UK and USA, ping times are under 500ms, sometimes a lot lower and upload speeds are 350-200kbps.
Neotel aren't able to provide that sort of service, even when I had a 512kbps connection it was faster than the reports I am seeing in the forum.
My Vodacom 3G card provides better speeds.
Neotel, I think you need to re-look at your technology, you don't appear to be providing broadband. I remember an article a few years back where broadband was defined as a solution that allowed a download speed in excess of 1Mb/s, you're not providing that.
Until you can provide a solution that provides more than I am getting with Telkom, I will stay with them. Hopefully their caps will increase this year
