If you actually had an iPhone, then I'd say your arguements are fair enough.. But you don't (from what I have gathered).

Just create a gTalk account and use Fring or any other gTalk compatible IM Client for the iPhone to login to the gTalk account.

Then, add your friends in the following format: "[email protected]"

e.g. [email protected]

Dunno. If Mxit had any brains, they'd hire a dude that can make a simple Mxit app for the iPhone.. I'm sure they will though with the recent release of the iPhone here..
Or they could simply enable jabber support again..

Would be a smart move, Mxit could make millions if launched internationally through the Appstore.

Wouldn't that be directly opposing them? And I would probably get a real iphone one day when it has Java supposrt or more free apps.
