They won’t know, and pretty much everything known will be on non-disclosure terms. Then to quote,

IHS conducted a similar analysis earlier this year of the iPhone 8 base model and found a bill of materials of $255.16.

What do component prices matter? It is called premium pricing and all the profitable flagships probably price the same. The 38% margins apple command show that.

Apple have a pile of cash of almost R2 trillion last I checked, around $180 billion. They ream each and every client at purchase and then again even more so at repair time.
