Wi-fi & nokia 6110

I am still new to the forum and internet things. I recently bought a Nokia 6110 Navigator. I am using it as a modem for my laptop & desktop at home. The speed looks fine to me. Can I connect to a hotspot & how. How will I know if the area i in has wi-fi?

AFAIK, the 6110 doesn't have wi-fi capabilities.
