wierd problem

Whenever someone or myself get up and walk in or out of my room where my adsl router is the line drops, At first i thought it was coincidence but now it is happening constantly anyone ever had this?

The DSL line, or the link (is it wireless or cable) between your computer and the router?

cable but i do have a wireless router the adsl line loses sync it drops as the router has to resync

Follow the telco cable (telephone wire that goes to our router).

My guess is it goes under your carpet or something and it's a bit stuffed. Whenever you trap on or near it, it disconnects for a split second.

eg. if you have had a chick in there with stilettos that have lost the rubber pippie at the end and stabbed a whole in it at some point.

rattle with connectors and wires.
Also, listen to your telephone while doing that. that will be the easiest.

Similar to my old problem, I used to have my cable running down the passage to the study where the router was. Every time that door was closed I would lose connection. So I put the cable through the roof

reading the title, wierd problem, i couldn't work out if you had a wired problem or a weird problem... seems a bit of both, lol

sounds like someone had this exact same issue before...stilettos and all...hehhe
