Wife cheated

Yeah I'd also want to know. Every tiny grisly detail.

I'm the same, but as I found out with an ex who cheated on me (just kissed a guy), nothing good comes of it.

Do you really want to know if he was hung like a horse? Or whatever else you can think of?
If you stay together, it will just make forgiving and forgetting more difficult.
If you split up, what difference does it make?

I’m doing allright thanks. It’s only been 8 days today, but it feels like a year has passed. The lying and deceit will linger a while, but I’ve made peace with it in a way.

I told her that I forgive her, but that there’s no going back to what she/we had.
You'll be ok, nobody died from getting divorced yet. Just take life easy. Go buy a bike and enjoy the rest of your life..

You are a good person, not many men would have been able to have this kind of self control.

I still really want to know what her parents think about all of this.
Surely she has told them and has started making plans to move back home?

Just to add to this, and I know loads of people have already suggested it, but start speaking to a psychologist asap.

Going to one is not an admission of being "damaged" but will prevent potential issues in the future and assist with this whole process.

I agree, it doesn’t really matter. But with regards to the bedroom there was definitely no shortcomings

I agree. In this situation I saw what great friends I actually have. We sometimes don’t realise.

I understand, it definitely helps to speak about. I thought about this all, and how bad it all is. And I’m glad I have a support system. This could make or break a person.

Thank you, I told one of my good friends as well. That it’s not about me being a good person or better than anyone, but I have compassion. And I told her as well that she mustn’t mistake my kindness for weakness.
I’m not jealous, and I don’t hate her.

But she’s not my wife anymore. I will never be able to look at her again.

I don’t think this whole situation has sunk in yet for her. She doesn’t know where here emotions are at. Ofcourse I still love her, but she set fire to our home (metaphorically) and you can’t change or fix what is done.

She only told her mother, and they aren’t really on speaking terms at the moment.
