Wifi cards in tablets?

Hi

Has anyone opened a tablet yet?
I'm curious as to what type of radio card they have as well as if its built onto the board or can one actually put in a different radio card if you wanted to.

No, it will be integrated on the same single PC Board, to save cost/complexity/space.

Just go look at any number of tablet teardowns out there, for example the Nexus 7.

My wireless started acting up, keeps connecting and disconnecting, have to be real close to AP and sometimes doesn't see it at all....

Not even to mention the absolute headache it will be to get the drivers to work...

You have checked other devices are okay over wifi on the same AP?

It could also possibly another nearby wifi router/AP on the same frequency band.

You can check with this little app.
