Afternoon Guys,

I was wondering if someone could help me come around this problem. We purchase a voucher that allows us to connect to our campus via a VPN connection over wifi. This works by logging into the Hotspot first with a user+pass and then logging into the VPN which directs all traffic over the VPN through the Wifi to the campus network.

What im trying to do is share WIFI from my laptop to a mobile device and still have it look as if it was coming in through HTTP traffic and not sharing the "non" proxy WIFI. Im using a Mac aswell and was wondering if this would be possible with the combination of Windows Parallels to help mimmic the settings to be shared over a Wifi hotspot to my mobile.

Regards.

You'd only be able to do this if you had a second network card in your mac as fas as I know. I don't think you can be an AP (For your phone to connect to ) and a Station(Connecting to the WiFi network) at the same time on a mac. You would need a separate WiFi card to create a network and the other one to connect to the WiFi hotspot.

Read about that too. I do however have a external wifi USB device that I can connect.
