WikiLeaks alternative website planned

A former WikiLeaks associate said Tuesday he and a number of other ex-members are preparing to launch an alternative to the whistle-blower website, just days after its latest document dump rocked the world.

Either the founder or the ex-members have sold out. It makes more sense for the US and other countries to create their own "wikileaks" which they can control.

Or Julian AssAngel was a real idiot and very difficult to get along with... which sounds like might be the very case... from multiple news sources around the world.

While what you say might be true, it simply sounds too convenient.
The alleged rape accusations apparently wasn't enough to discredit him, so via a concerted effort (including your "multiple news sources around the world", and also getting a few members to sell out), he is now effectively being demonized. A new, controllable "wikileaks-alternative" then gets set up, and the Powers That Be are happy. A perfect ploy, actually.

Aah... so a community based wikileaks where you can 'remain anonymous'...
I wonder how they are going to guarantee that to people?
Anyhow, seems more like a honeypot to lure whistleblowers. Why the heck is this lighting up the world atm. It's not even interesting news (the wikileaks themselves).
