WikiLeaks nominated for 2011 Nobel Peace Prize

I think that's going a bit far.

Imagine the US locking up a Nobel laureate :D
 
When they gave it to Obama, I already knew what joke it had become.
 
I think Wikileaks is a pretty cool guy. He wins teh Nobel Peace Prize and doesn't afraid of anything.

Seriously though, aren't the prizes supposed to go to people, not organizations? Wikileaks did some nice things but this is going a bit far.

It should have become clear when Al Gore got his noddy badge. Hell when they gave it to Jimmy the peanut back in 2002 it must have been obvious.

So where is the 2011 awards being held? Just wondering if it was somewhere in the USA, it would be a good opportunity for the USA to nab Jullian Assange when he steps onto US soil :-) Though I guess he can't be that stupid :-)
 
I think they deserve it.

The idea of no secrets is great.
It causes kark at first ya, but I mean come on... just tell us stuff.

One has a Nobel Peace Prize locked in his basement, the other has a Nobel Peace Prize winner locked up in his.
 
Even if you have reservations about wikileaks does the info they have published now become irrelevant because of how it was obtained & do you really believe anyone has your interests at heart?

Peace Prize always in Oslo, Norway. Other Nobel Prizes always in Stockholm, Sweden.

Didn't know causing civil unrests resulting in deaths of hundreds of people in countries like Egypt and Tunisia is considered noble. This peace price is a joke!!
