Wileyfox Swift

OK guys,
Let me make a few things known about this phone, for those of us in SA that own one.

Absolutely no hope of finding covers or batteries for this phone, in SA at least,
Wileyfox UK is got extremely limited and inefficient shipping to the EU even....
And don't want to find out what might happen if I crack a screen, or get something broken on the phone.

Otherwise phone itself is excellent, no bloatware or anything slowing down the phone, extremely customisable, and fast.
Samsung camera is great, quality is top notch,
And gets updates as I've heard.
Not easy to root, but that's to be expected,
Something I planning to do, but at a later stage.

Like my gobbi, was an incredible phone for 900 bucks, but no covers no replacements no nothing, but for 900 bucks it was a steal.

Yeah, always a catch when you buy a phone that way, like my innjoo fire.

Don't you need a dealer card to buy from esquire ? Unless it has changed now?

Not sure, I'm registered with all the suppliers used to run a hardware shop back before the Internet was affordable, pretty damn successfully but then the margins just started collapsing and I moved out of that space.

Wileyfox Swift update to May 2017 Nougat security patch release

I've received another system update for my Wileyfox Swift yesterday called TOS111B and it's bringing Android Nougat v 7.1.1 up to date with the May 2017 security patches as well as improved Bluetooth. I just love how Wileyfox is managing to keep up the OS updates and even still support for one of their very first phone models! :)

Is esquire still the only and best option to get a wileyfox in SA?
Anyone have one they are looking to sell?

Not me unfortunately, also don't know if esquire should be fine because I bought mine through the Orange Store. I'm very surprised and impressed with Wileyfox. They are leading the pack with updates to their phones.
