Wileyfox Swift

How does one go about resetting the Swift - does anybody know? I've heard you can hold the power button and volume - button to boot into recovery, but is that the best way?

Just received the Cyanogen OS 13.0 OTA update (ZNH0EAS2NH) for my Wileyfox Swift an hour ago and I'm just loving the notification drawer being split in two with added customization of the tiles to add or remove. Increasing ring volume also now has a "Start volume" and a "Ramp-up volume" time-frame in seconds. I'm using Deep Darkness (moelle) theme and most things are still themed correctly after the OS update. :)

I also have been unfortunate and cracked my Swift's screen. I contacted the Orange local store but was informed that they would only assist me with a repair under warranty and that I must contact Wileyfox in the UK. I used the e-mail address that they supplied and a week later Wileyfox have not even replied. I really liked the device but this is a deal breaker for me.

Thanks for the heads up. Will try not to get my Swift's screen cracked. ;)

All the reviews I've read basically says the battery life is nothing special and neither is the camera which apparently sucks in high contrast situations.

Any of the actual owners care to comment as I've been looking at getting one but the above just puts me off.

Battery life seems okay to me, but I'm not a power-user really. It lasts for a full day and night easily enough for me, with whatever my normal use is.

As for the camera, I'm a terrible photographer, and rarely take pics, but it's done well enough when I have.

Camera is acceptable for me (the new software update has made it fairly decent actually - that's Cyanogen for you) and the battery life hasn't been an issue at all.

Keep in mind I take thousands of pics from the planes I fly and yes, quality is decent enough to see those of you who decide to take skinny dips...

Ok, not really, but I'm happy with the quality and focus time is great even from 12000 feet.

And the screen? Apparently no gorilla glass or similar. Does it scratch easy if you use it without a cover?

My Wileyfox Swift is definitely not as good as my OnePlus 3 when it comes to everything, but the OS is what I love about my Swift, since it's CyaogenOS with support for themes, etc. Also love to have my MicroSD support on the Swift, and it came with a factory fitted screen protector, so no scratches at all on the 5" HD Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 IPS Display. Still love my Swift a lot and it's really smooth in everyday use although the battery is not as good as the OnePlus 3 and camera as well.

The screen is definitely Gorilla glass 3, after a year it had no scratches on it without a screen protector, but then my son dropped it and it cracked. I now use a Sony Z3, supposed to have the best phone camera, I miss the camera on the Swift.

What email address did you use? Amazon lists [email protected] for support.

I had a Zest T1 with no gorilla glass. Thing was scratched to bits when the USB connector finally gave out.

My swift currently has a few tiny and nearly invisible scratches that come from usual wear and tear.

No that pretty much confirms what the camera is capable of. Dark shadows, over saturated highlights.

I'd rather wait for another Wileyfox or for Motorola to come to their senses and bring out a decent specced 5" phone again.

A couple of Android phones I've had shipped with atrocious camera apps...I find my phone (Meizu M2 Note) gets better pictures with 3rd party apps (leaving aside trying to fiddle with the settings till it looks better). The over-saturated colour always bugs me as well as the noise in medium to low light.
