You if you can follow the statement of saying "THE RICH WILL BECOME RICHIER, THE POOR WILL BECOME POORER" This politicians there have a way of destroying future of Upcoming genaration through these Grants, they first destroyed womens life by giving them grants that was the way of opening a gate of hell, and now the TAX is killing those who are working daily. while people get freegrants
 
Who is going to give people a basic income when this govt is reeling in foreign debts post-pandemic. Heaven knows how much this country owes the World bank. It's not only this country that's drowning in debts, most of our neighboring countries also are finding it tough. It's tough surviving with the present grant from the govt, with basic food prices shooting up every month. It's going to get worse with the Chinese cashing in taking over a few countries like Zim for instance.
 
This Grant is about Destroying people turning them Lazzy while the Politicians Pockets get fatter and larger daily, and they enjoy and embarrasing AFricans that we enjoy free rides than empowering ourselves, i have noticed already that most of those who get these R350 they spend it in Alcohol and Drugs that means its a way of boosting the Downfall of New Genaration and so they wont even think about businesses of their own, and getting educated
 
This is not empowering but teaching the majority of the nation to depend on the government. They should be focusing on fixing the country, educate and empower communities to be self sufficient.
 
Basic income grant basically is designed to make the poor totally reliant on the government while impoverishing the middle class (The workers) through heavier and heavier taxes to pay for these grants thus slowly pushing people out of the middle class into poverty and reliance on grants to survive instead of working.
So who will finance this all when there is no longer a middle class? Well that is easy the ruling class (Eluminati) will be the Royalty and everyone else will live on or just below the breadline and will effectively be turned into slaves who have to obey every Royal law and instruction or starve out in the cold! A slave master can easily afford to house and feed his slaves but that will be all he does for them, there will be no educating or empowerment opportunities and no more entertainments and treats under a communiist Master slave environment. Communism was never design to empower the masses only the few at the top that rule, the Royals.

So any one who can't see that communism is just another way of describing the dark ages is an idiot and the same goes for anyone who supports these grants on either end of the payment!

The opposite of this process is education and true empowerment (not racial quotas I mean real opportunity development)! So let us work at making that happen everyone's effort counts. So do you little bit to educate and empower! If you have skills pass them on to as many people as you can help.

I work my ass of to pay taxes to support lazy bastards that sit at home instead of wanting to work for rmoney.

If you get free money there is no incentive to at least try and work

No it won't, but it might prevent them from having to beg at traffic lights. Basic income grants exist, and work, in some form or another, in most civilized countries. It should do here too.​

I doubt if any of the people on this forum who are "anti-grants", or believe large sectors of our community are inherently lazy, have ever tried living on the sort of money we are talking about. Let alone tried to get a job while having no qualifications, no bus fair, and very little to wear to an interview.

The fact that may people refuse to pay a wage that can beat a minimal social grant is another worrying problem.

I stand corrected! They could indeed live on mieliepap just like we do.
No idea what the problem is!
Well apart from getting the 15 people into your shack, heck it would be squash in my 3 bedroom house! But if meant we could all stop work it would be well worth the effort I guess.
 
Other, depends on the amount.
some form of basic income will become necessary in the not too distant future with 4IR, this must be coupled with public programs to get people on BI to participate in public initiatives, at the very least, I'd like to see our parks clean, beautifully planted, our cities designed amazingly and social structures decent. I'd like to only work 3 hours per day.

I know its a pipe dream, but its almost Friday....
