384k is NOT Broadband........its a pimped up version of dail up and ISDN with nitro's......and thats that, plain and simple

AFAIK It's only Screamer (R399), DigiChilli (R299), Sainet (R449) who sells uncapped around R400 is there anyone else at this stage?

@Pseudz, yes I remember that, but SAOL now doubled their price in 3 months!

When you go to signup the application form has this at the top:
Fixed (Static) IP : 384k All-in-1 + 15Gig Soft Cap
AFAIK they scrapped the whole uncapped 384kbps @ R499 and replaced it with R699. You only get it at R499 if you have never had an ADSL line before. Although now it looks like they have just altered the price entirely to R799.
Next month it'll probably be R850/R899

Everyone thought 2010 would bring huge changes (faster and cheaper)
Yes changes have happened prices have dropped but only for entry level uncapped "broadband"if you can call it that.
When will households be able to afford uncapped 4meg lines and not have to take out a second bond to afford that?

Ja, somebody needs to remind them, they're not DStv, prices are meant to come down, not go up
