Yep, tho' not as pronounced as the jump from 1-2gig. Also, as far as a 32bit OS goes, it's the practical upper limit of how much to put in.

MS changed the displayed amount from memory in use to memory installed because it was confusing people. Nothing actually changed. Sorry.Interesting that ... I have 4Gb in my Dell notebook running Vista 32-bit ... Previously, when going to Control Panel -> System, it displayed 3582Mb memory (which is correct ito the 32-bit architecture). HOWEVER, after upgrading to SP1, it now shows the full 4Gb, BUT Task Manager -> Performance tab still only shows 3582Mb physical memory ...
