Will industry complacency lose us spectrum?

The acting director general recently sent out invitation letters to the telecommunication and broadcasting industry to join the WRC-1 Industry Preparatory group.

Hmmm, this pretender must be really bad if the person's name cannot be mentioned in public, who is the acting D[o]G?

Also, have the carrier pigeons arrived at their destinations with those letters?

However, some major industry players were noticeably missing from WRC09.

would this be the likes of Telkodemonopolies, or the previously disadvantaged VANs that were institutionally denied access to radio spectrum by Poison Ivy and Stalin-Mafole under the former Mbeki-ANC regime?

ICASA develops and promulgates many of its regulations based on determinations made at the WRC.

I wonder if !CASA is aware that it is basing its decisions on WRC determinations...

BTW, why hasn't the other incompetent narcoleptic, Paris Mashile, resigned or been fired yet?

IMO that proves that the fault lies with the DoC - considering that Stalin-Mafole obviously did not do her job back in February 2008, and it took a new pretender D[o]G to send out the invitations a year later via carrier pigeon, no wonder industry players are "complacent".
