Will iPhone 4S drop in price?

hehe ...You guys really don't like hearing that your devices aren't the ultimate WOW gadget released, eh? :P

iCloud ... I want things to sync between the iPad and iPhone. Contacts and calendar specifically - which I guess it'll do? If I add an appointment on the iPad, it'll appear on the phone?

EDIT : How much is an iPad 2 16GB 3G actually worth? Retail was R5,699.00 IIRC and you say Apple products hold their value .... so after 8 months what's it worth?

It's not that mate, it's the crusade, the incessant bitching and complaining and whining... :)

Contact and calendar can auto-sync via Google/Gmail so not an issue.

Sell for probably about R4,000 on Gumtree. The monthly equivalent over 24 months to get to a PV of R4,000 at prime is R182. So you can look for an contract that gives you a free Android phone + you have another R182 p.m. to spare to add a tablet. Bam! Androidised for little monetary impact. To put it in perspective, imagine R430 p.m. like the iphone Talk 240 + R182 = R612 p.m. For that you could probably get 2 SGII's and a Tab. :p

So, to come back to my original point, given the sums/facts/history involved, you've either -

1) become a closet iSheep or
2) you're dumb...

...and I don't think it's the latter... :)

In which case...CONGRATS! All hail Steve Jobs. :D
 
I must admit - the one huge negative of owning an iDevice is being lumped with the majority of you and labelled an iSheep ... would be pretty awesome to pull away from that stigma and be known as someone that has their own opinion as opposed to ... um ;)

Btw - I've already asked in the other thread whether there is a deal whereby I can get a tablet and phone.

Is your Blackberry unable to phone Vodacom/MTN/CellC to inquire about any Android phone/tablet combos for R650 per month? :-)
 
There are 10 million deals with different SPs as well ... !

The easiest is to ask on here and see what people have come up with. I - for one - cannot find a R650.00 that offers everything you mentioned :P

It's not too late to repent and admit that Apple is the best, Steve Jobs knows (knew) better than you do what you need, iOS has no missing features, closed system is best and iPhones/iPads are the market leaders in every aspect.
