Used Twitter early in the beginning, but the character limit irritated me, and I stopped using it.

Why would I want to pay $8/mo if there's MyBB and other forums for mahala?

Will Carl Nohouse still be using Twitter to tweet his stuff?

I assume you are one of those people that write essays on whatsapp and leave multi-minute voice notes? :)

I'd gladly pay $8 a month if they shortened tweets to 200 characters. Beverity is focus. That is the *best* feature of Twitter.
 
We didn't have a poll like this when Twitter Blue was launched in 2021. Nobody is obligated to pay in order to use Twitter. Paid subscribers on Twitter have always been minimal: they have only generated $6.4m in consumer spending which would equate to less than 1% active user spending.

This is now like asking whether you pay to use Discord Nitro.

The problem that many Twitter members and external commentators have is Musk, and the Twitter elite is not willing to let their privileges go to be equalised.

I do wax lyrical sometimes, but most of the time it's short and to the point.

No need to write long essays and delve deeply into things best left undisturbed, lest they do a Durin's Bane on you, and you get overwhelmed with things...

Sure, Twitter have its place, and its market. But it is not for me.
