I will only vote if there is a party I can support. At the moment, there is NOT.

I also agree - I do not think the ANC will remain in power for much long. The party will need to get into agreements with one or more opposition parties to keep their minority government in play. Also, there was talk about amending our electoral system - not sure what the final model will be. I think I may have heard that the final system must be in play by the next election (not the 2024 election).
I know Durban is a post apocalyptic wasteland, but it doesn't constitute as another country.I take voting so seriously that I vote in two countries.
If you don't vote because you chose not to, then you are literally beyond useless.
Always this. Dislike politics but not going out and voting is not an option.Strategic voting can also help. Give your power to the main opposition.

If you don't vote because you choose not to, then you are literally beyond useless and should never complain about anything the government does.

You can still vote for those stuck here and hopefully return to a better country in the future. Most likely not, as I would have emigrated by then if all goes to plan.

Emigration is also not an excuse IMO, by not voting you're not just saying fsck you to the ANC, you're saying fsck you to everyone...
There's an absentee vote type option that used to allow for an earlier vote, maybe research that.Completely agree. However I will literally be between countries right around election time. We're probably moving literally two or three days before the elections - so how would I vote when not in the country and in the middle of a move?
Well the DA is just as bad as the ANC so who cares.A non-voter counts in the ANC's favour so I'm definitely voting.
Do you also take it seriously when either or both steal your income and screw you over with stupid laws and suchlike?I take voting so seriously that I vote in two countries.

If you were forced to be living here, what is your solution?Do you also take it seriously when either or both steal your income and screw you over with stupid laws and suchlike?
The solution I've been employing most of my life lived in ZA. Don't vote. Keep the politics away from me and let me get on with my life and doing what I need to doIf you were forced to be living here, what is your solution?
DA is a stepping stone IMO, they're trying to use us so instead let's use them to dilute the bigger threat ANC.
