WiMAX and ISP's?

Hi guys,
I might end up getting WiMAX as Telkom currently dont have any ports avalible in my area.

The thing is im not quite sure how the ISP thing works with WiMAX. Can you use any ADSL ISP or do you have to use Telkom?

Tested an IS one this morning also works no problem? I think it backs onto the same ATM network as ADSL?
