Wimbledon 2012

Wow, what a match! Roger Federer is now undoubtedly the king of tennis. Not his best performance by a long shot, but still damn good. I hate that people are making excuses now by saying that the break they took caused Roger to gain momentum. What utter rubbish. Roger already gained momentum by winning the second set. Typical excuses by sore losers. Roger took his chances and that's what it came down to today. Roger Federer is the champion! I'm so sad that Wimbledon is over, but it was a very interesting Wimbledon. Now, Federer goes back to number 1 and achieves all sorts of records. Awesome!

Oh, and the reason I hate Serena is because she is a terrible sportsman. Acts like a real bitch when she loses and throws tantrums.

Nothing wrong with supporting the underdog.
You seem like the type of guy who only supports winning teams, let me guess, this how you're sport support goes:
F1=Ferrari
Football=man u
Golf= tiger woods
Athletics=bolt
Motogp=Rossi

And so on

I'm South African with Scottish ancestry. Even found a grave/stone of one of my ancestors when travelling through Scotland. But as Federer has been my favourite player since Pistol Pete left tennis and Federer has South African citizenship, I am bound to support him first.

I like Murray as a player. He plays with plenty of heart and I look forward to seeing him win his first grand slam. But he had nothing on the grace and stature of Federer.

They have dominated when on top of their game.

Serena has just turned 30,

Lots of young brilliant east-europeans coming through the womans game.

Murray put up a great show. Unfortunately he is just not in the league of Fed, Nadal and Djoko. But I hope he wins a Grand Slam or two...

...maybe not Wimbledon, let the British suffer some more... :-)

I'm Scottish, my guy just got beat, but no problem because he got beat by the better player. What more could he do? He's not good enough at the moment, maybe never will be. Such is life.

Really enjoyed the game though, a real epic match and Rog bossed it big time. Made Murray look like a school boy at times. A real master and pupil display.

Doesn't make it any less annoying reading some sad arsed hero laughing at him though.
