Yep, I agree. And he definitely knows this. But he didn't play horribly- he was just outplayed by Darcis, and he was rusty due to not playing on grass for close to a year now.

Not actually a Nadal fan, but he does deserve a bit of a break...

Novak also had a break - same as Nadal and yet Novak and every other player, plays just fine on grass. I really don't know what's going on. Last year, before Wimbledon, Nadal played the grass tournament in Germany, IIRC, and also lost in the early rounds. I'm starting to think that he really just cannot play on grass any longer.

I agree with you. Boris Becker actually said the same thing, that he should consider not entering grass-courted tournaments...

Have to agree. Watched the entire match and Nadal WAS trying to chase everything down in the first 2 sets but was simply being outhit by Darcis. It's only in the decider where Nadal really started showing signs of "injury".

Maybe the knee was bothering him but this wasn't obvious in the first 2 sets. All credit to Darcis for taking it to him. :D
 
My first favourite tennis grand slam. I like seeing aces, backhand shots, groundstrokes, lobes, & drop shots.

What is the reason for the animosity shown to Murray?

I know the English/British dislike him because they accuse him of being anti-English/British.

Those two guys that knocked Nadal and Federer out of the tournament, both lost there next games!!!

How do you understand that???
