Wimpy evicted from Scottburgh Beachfront Pavilion

I don't even know where Scottburgh is.

That's common for a capetonian, you guys don't get out much as you believe the cape is the be all and end all. I've met quite a few capetonians that don't even know where llandudno is.Reminds me of cows in a paddock.

Reminds me of some Americans...

What made this Wimpy so iconic?

I remember eating there -- and the pavilion as a whole -- from when we holidayed a few times in Scottburgh when I was a kid. Falls into the 'there's something about the place' category I guess. Nice vibe. Hard to describe.

Sad to read the article. What a **** up.

Absolutely sad. Sounds like another Pilgrims Rest story to me.

Haters be a hatin'

Back to topic, if this racist decision can be proven I am sure they would have a case. Sound dodgy.

I'm sure it can be. The council will get dragged to court, have their asses handed to them, but that won't help the area or the people who've lost jobs, income, etc

Just like Pilgrims Rest, Fishing Quotas, etc etc etc

Awh crap :/

Whenever I go diving in Umkomaas I always take a drive down to Scottburgh just to go have chow at that Wimpy.

Wife and I wanted to go to Scottburgh in October. We got married there in the Blue Marlin hotel in 2005. We'll rater go to the North Coast.
