Ok so when I got to work this morning and switch on the server monitor - I got a blue screen with win10 install already in progress. managed to stop it and roll back to win7.

our server is set up with specific network settings and I don't want to screw with them! is there away to stop this "upgrade" permanently?

thanks

Happened to one of my clients this morning as well. Her bespoke software only works with Win7 but the upgrade went ahead anyway.

switch off updates:p

seriously, though, I not sure if there is even a way to do that.

MS wants everybody to upgrade....

Download and install the GWX control panel to permanently block it.

You can prevent the upgrade to 10. I switched my auto upgrade off a year ago. The icon is sitting on my taskbar waiting to be clicked. :)

You licence is probably incorrect though because server licences should not be included in the automatic update.
