Win7 Build number

I sell the official version so no need for build or RTM remember those will expire in August.

How to find windows version, build number and revision number?

Click Start, type regedit and press Enter to open the Windows registry
Navigate to the registry key – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
On the right panel, you will find the key CurrentBuildNumber. The value of this key is your Windows Build Number. Then find a key called CurrentVersion and its value is your windows version i.e. the version of your windows vista, windows xp, etc. You will also find keys called EditionID and ProductId to know the windows edition and product id.

There's an easier way...

Ok....Open Command Prompt from accessories.
At the command prompt, type the following:

slmgr /dlv

A screen will pop up, giving you all the details....

Enjoy

Thanks.

RTM = Release to Manufacturing, and it depends on what key you have.
If you using the Evaluation key, than March 2010 it will expire.

But check by doing what I explained in my previous post.
Will give u all the info.:)

Hahaha, so what you mean is that you sell the RTM version in retail packaging? And it has a build number, which is the same as the RTM's because that's what it is.

And they won't expire, you just need a key/crack like you do with the retail. I think you're confusing betas and RCs with the RTM version.

Thanks, seems I'm running version 6.1 (Build 7600) of Windows 7 Ultimate.

That's pretty much good enough but it's not quite the full build number, there were a few versions of build 7600, but the final is most likely what you have.

If you go to Start and search "System Information" you get to a screen that shows the full build number, should be 7600.16385.
