Hi,

Neither Winamp or Windows Media Player are displaying the video, only the sound is heard. Any ideas why?

Must be codec issue or if you have multiple display capability on your GPU, then make sure the settings say single display or make your LCD the primary (for full screen video) to make the video show on the pc screen.

its a codec issue, and forget about playing video in winamp,It really sucks.Rather use other players like mpc and wmp 11/10..etc.
If you in xp-tr codec packs like k-lite/xpcodec..etc
If you in vista- there is a special pack vista codec pack, but media player classic will be optional.
also check your file extension to of the video file and post it if you still have a problem

Question relating to Winamp - going to post it here rather than opening a new thread :)

Any plug-ins for Winamp to play protected WMA files ?

Getting tired of WMP :D

Thanks !

Actually (blue) play the file in windows media player, but have a internet connection,it will download the key to play it.then use the files for winamp.

Thanks for the advice guys, my problem was a game that was minimized and has been on for a couple of weeks and that must have taken all the video memory.

Alow me to hijack this thread so I don't have to create a new one.

Anyone remember how to remove duplicates in the library? Perhaps on the drive they are stored as well. Remember there was a way but cant find it.

Capture.PNG

Edit: without searching for them where they are stored as sometimes its all scattered

Double Killer.exe

On the minus button, second to left, bottom => remove => remove duplicate entries (or Shift + Delete)
Doesn't remove from the hdd though. Only the current playlist

Hmmm that seems like it, however it does nothing even if I select some files, might not have the privileges on this pc

uhm... Why do you have personal stuff on your laptop?
I sometimes have but save it on flash and take it to my personal pc.
For music, phone and headphones.

Desktop PC

IT is has no issue with personal files, provided you keep it off the servers and store it locally.
