Wind affecting Adsl noise margin

Hello.

I have a low noise margin of 10db normally however when it is windy it can go down to 6-7 db giving my line lots of packet loss and disconnects. Is there anything Telkom can do to fix this?

If there is rain or a storm line is useless.

certain cables needs to be twist, for this very reason.

Had the same. Took me a year before they actually did something properly, and got it stable. Still haven't rewired the house like they said they would though...

If you are willing to sabotage your own line by cutting it then that would be the best option, but I don't know the turn over time for a technician to attend the fault.

I don't want you to wait possibly months for the fault to be fixed, unless you don't mind as long as it gets fixed.
