Window 7 start up error

Hey guys~

For some reason, lately my window 7 doesn't start up properly.. i'm not sure if it's just my computer.. or if other people have such problem..

When i switch on my computer, everything runs fine, and then the welcome screen comes on.. and then type password..

It takes a long time before anything is loading...after a while.. the log on screen shows... and then after that, the screen goes black... (but you can see the mouse...)

at first i thought it was like a little computer error, that you can "fix" but restarting the computer.. so i restarted.. but then, the same thing happened.. so this time i waited.. (half an hour passed..) nothing happened..

and then.. one time.. after a while.. when i finally was able to go on.. an error poped up.. "window explore error" and then "searching for error" and then "window explore restarting"

something happens and then window 7 is working agian..

i don't want to switch off my computer anymore.. just in case the same thing happens again..

Is there anyone out there with the same problem? or is it just my computer??

New PC? Old PC? Self-install? Oem install? Check your event viewer for disk errors. Sounds a bit like a bad disk / disk failing. You got lots of apps installed? Got your original Win 7 DVD? If the hardware is good, I'd be looking at re-installing. Easier in the long run, and usually ends up quicker than troubleshooting.

yeah, he pretty much said it..

it's not a new PC.. although i won't rate it being old though..

the hard disc is one that just bought.. so i don't think there will be any problems there...

yes, i do have a few app installed.. like MS office 2007..and all the other stuff..

i'll have to see about re-installing..

click start. type "sfc" . hit enter.

Edit: oops. Doesn't seem to work on 7. Even with admin priviledges...:whistle:

maybe the fact that its new is exactly the problem... though i doubt it

kaisterkai ask how big a cracked windows 7 is
