Window Managers

You mean a completely new window manager like xfce and blackbox?

Or you talking about themes for gnome and kde?

Gnome and KDE are Desktop Environments. Fluxbox is a Window manager

I enjoyed fluxbox and xfce when I used to use linux as a desktop.

The WM list:
Fluxbox
Openbox
Blackbox
XFCE
Ratpoison
E17
Enlightenment (0.16)
aewm
afterstep
amiwm
awesome
dwm
ctwm
evilwm
fvwm
icewm
oroborus
pekwm
sawfish
selectwm
stumpwm
treewm
twm
vtwm
windowlab
windowmaker
wm2
wmii
xmonad

I left out a few, but that is basically it.
From that list I have tried:
Fluxbox, Openbox, blackbox, ratpoison, dwm, fvwm, enlightenment (0.16 and E17), xfce, windowmaker, afterstep, icewm and sawfish.

And from those the one that kicks the most butt:
E17!!

But the most stable and useful:
Fluxbox

The most technical and difficult of them all:
fvwm

You've never tried metacity?

I remember the issues Compiz Fusion gave with 7.10... oh it was horrible. Unless you knew exactly what to do to fix it...
