Windows 10 .net issue

Inside programs and features, the .net 2.0 and 3.0 will not update, i have internet connectivity, and i have tried hotspot internet on my phone - nothing works it will not update via windows update!!!

if i have the windows 10 dvd, how can i get it done

apparently you need to run some DISM command?????????????????????

anybody else had this problem

Try something like this :

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs

Any idea why the windows update doesnt work?

Not sure actually. Did you run the command and it installed .net?

If it's installed, you should be able to update it, if needed, through windows update, as far as i'm aware.
