Have Nvidia/AMD released decent drivers yet, how's gaming on 10?

When I get my PC back together, I'm considering moving straight to Windows 10 instead of continuing with 8.1. They've been doing some solid work recently and I'm loving the features they're adding in like multiple desktops.

For non-experts, just remember this is beta code, constantly evolving. The latest build makes some big changes to OneDrive that I'm not happy with. Gone are file placeholders for online files not on the local machine. This will doubtless be fixed soon.

I've opted for the 'slow' adopter category

Here's a Fix for Some OneDrive Problems in Windows Technical Preview Build 9879

/Edit

Another Onedrive article.

Microsoft’s Jason Moore responded, giving some clues about the future of OneDrive:

“We didn’t just “turn off” placeholders – we’re making fundamental improvements to how Sync works, focusing on reliability in all scenarios, bringing together OneDrive and OneDrive for Business in one sync engine, and making sure we have a model that can scale to unlimited storage. In Windows 10, that means we’ll use selective sync instead of placeholders. But we’re adding additional capabilities, so the experience you get in Windows 10 build 9879 is just the beginning. For instance, you’ll be able to search all of your files on OneDrive – even those that aren’t sync’ed to your PC – and access those files directly from the search results. And we’ll solve for the scenario of having a large photo collection in the cloud but limited disk space on your PC.”

Well, you're not a company, so you don't have to wait for Service Pack 1. ;)

Need to rebuild my 8.1 and thinking of just going to 10.

Anyone have a list of app that don't work yet?

So you are saying that instead of Service Packs, we will now get Update 1, 2 and 3 going forward?
Actually, the word is that it'll be more like described in this piece by Peter Bright: rapid release, with multiple releases and multiple 'tracks'.

Our expectation is that the Windows Insider program will continue to run even after Windows 10 is launched. With the three announced stable release cadences (a fast consumer-oriented one, a medium business-oriented one, and a slow critical system-oriented one), and two-speed insider program, this will leave Windows users on up to five different versions of Windows 10.

MSFT has been talking about this for some years now. And Win10 is when it kicks in.
