Windows 10 update found to delete personal files

Does the OP have a UPS.. Maybe it's an eskom problem afterall.

I have the update and no file delete / move problem.
 
Touch a giant redwood, but I have never had a single teensy issue with Win10 or the updates/upgrades.

Ive said it before and ill say it again. MS, stop making the public your Q&A team. An ex employee of MS said that they basically scrapped the Q&A team long ago. ‍/facepalm

Seems a bit outdated that you would need to backup data to save it from the OS. Wait, that is something that never used to happen.
 
Strangely, my Windows 10 is fine after the update. Maybe I did not do anything wrong or maybe it is just fake news. Who knows...

You one of those people still keeping you programs and data on floppy disks... or are you old school still using punch cards?


Back to the point morons fiddle with settings they don't understand and they lose data, but it's not the snowflakes fault that data has been lost, no its the big bad operating system and all of its stupid updates.

Awesome mate, really, when the OS of it's own accord, deletes, moves or modifies your files and you are fine with that. Enjoy!!
