Windows 11 Support Thread

So got it started again and then it crashed. It also reset all my login details and had to reset pin. Doing a debug it seems to be the graphics driver again:

There has been no graphic update since the last time it gave issues and reinstalled 26-04-05

There is no newer update for graphics

I clean installed graphic drivers, tried different versions. It keep getting bluescreen. Wonder if this is not a hardware issue?
What is the error code? Then Google it.

Also, use DDU to clean up old graphics drivers properly, then retry install.

I'm just taking a wild guess here, but I had a similar issue with my previous laptop; Windows would freeze/bluescreen every time it tried to reduce power to the GPU, which caused stability issues. You could try setting the GPU to maximum power at the expense of a little extra heat...

Just to add (as per @ArmatageShanks)

It is on Full Performance. I do not work in low performance as the projects are very big.. Thanks anyways! The display is now freezing. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers. Ive sent Dell another email with memory dumps and event viewers.

I can't even run my software:

Or it will run for a little while and then bluescreen.

The DirectX Dump is new:

Use DDU to remove the old drivers properly, thats error is usually because windows still has registry config hanging

Eish man, that sucks. Hope you come right, but ya, could very much be a hardware issue...

I had been using two Dell Precision laptops. A work one with 13th gen i7 and Windows 11, and a slightly older personal one with a different OS. The work one regularly gave blue screens while also sounding like it was preparing for takeoff, while the personal one has never had problems and the fan is usually inaudible.

Do you have a 13th or 14th gen processor of the type affected by the degradation issue? If not, it really looks like there is a whole lot of unnecessary stuff happening in the background with Win 11.
