I tried Ubuntu, last weekend. There is a learning curve and I accept the challenge.
But for user-friendliness for non-technical users, nothing compares to Windows......

My wife uses Ubuntu. She is not technically inclined, she can browse the internet, check emails and do word processing. That's all she needs and Ubuntu serves her well.
