Windows 7 Beta 1 - Download here

You should be able to to 3.2ghz on air aqua :), that q9300 is a very poor overclocker.

Yeah I know.. my plan was never to overclock which is why I got the Q9300. I don't want to push it too far as I plan to keep this PC for some time.

Seems they are limiting some of our MWEB uncapped local access...
Anybody with the 32bit Win 7 in Pretoria - Midrand area?? PLS ??
I had the same problem with Apple downloads (which are also akamised). My solution was to bind the local IP address to the domain name in my hosts file.

Hope it helps.

Nebody know if Route Sentry still works?
I wanna install, but worried i wont be able to pick up where i left off with XP.

So far ive heard of ISO issues, especially with the BF2 mini iso....

Can anybody confirm Route Sentry will work?

Route Sentry still works just fine.

It took me 18 hours to download W7, but only because my adsl connection kept reconnecting every 15 minutes and I had to physically pause the download and the resume it everytime the reconnect happened so that I didn't get a timeout error.
I was using Firefox's default download manager, and then half way through, it stopped and said that it couldn't find the file anymore. So I had to restart the download, this time I used DTA manager, It took about 10 hours at an average speed of 100kB/s. I was up until 3:30am sunday morning.
Now I've installed it on my Virtual machine but it's not running so great because of the measly 8mb graphics driver. So maybe I should just do a dual boot instead?

I always LOL at people downloading massive files with firefox or IE :p

Download manager are around for a reason :p

Sorry mate, forgot to tell you I sent it off on Monday morning at around 08:30

Huh?

I made copies for him as I have for about 20 other forumites and posted them to him.

Aah, right, sorry. I thought you mean that you had already sent off your copy and that you didn't have anymore to send to him.

*sticks head in ground*

:o

The links does work on local-only SAIX accounts...
Somehow the transparent proxy from Telkom is hosting the big ISO file... making $$$ from International accounts!

Axxess is selling 1Gb local-only SAIX accounts for R 10.00 each, or R 12.00 for PAYG. It'll be cheaper to download it locally, than to pay for postage and packaging, just an idea?
