Hey

I recently purchased Windows 7 Ultimate and installed it on my desktop pc and my laptop..

But now it is saying that windows cannot be activated on my laptop. Is it possible that the key was only available for one pc?

If so, what are my options?

Thanks

If so buy another license or multi license.

1 Key per PC yes :)

Buy another OR get valid key from MS ..... think that's about your only options

Just phone microsoft, tell them you need it activated as you changed to a laptop.

Then both will work.

^^ That sounds legit:(

The problem sounds like a keyboard/chair interface error more than anything else.

Hey,

Buy licensed and certified software.

Microsoft have very good security, they can easily find the pirate software.

So, Buy licensed and certified software to get a windows 7 experience.

Good Luck !!! :)

What rubbish, microsoft have no idea how to control piracy.

I do not know how many i activated windows on different computers by phoning and telling them i upgraded or down graded due to lighting, got a new pc blah blah who really gives a crap what you tell them.

So easy to do. One license can go a very far way :D

Scare tactics work on some but mostly they are nothing more than scare tactics.

They have changed the way Windows licensing is enforced with Win7. Even OVL now requires activation :(
