If your card uses the latest 9.4 Catalyst drivers in Vista, then it should use the same ones for 7.

The driver packages, from 9.3 onwards, are the same for Vista and 7.

Note, however, that you may have a problem installing the drivers automatically... After running setup, you may have to manually specify the the new .inf file to use, in order to force Windows to stop using its default graphics driver. I dunno why it does that, but a lot of ATI folks have that problem... Even with the latest cards.

AFAIK Nvidia and M$ worked together to integrate their drivers in W7.

Some driver setups will only work if you run them in compatibility mode.

AFAIK is that because 7 uses WDDM 1.1, that why some devices can't be used as they only reach WDDM 1.0 aka Vista.
