Hi Folks, maybe someone here can help me before I pull all my hair out.
I have a small home network as follows:
1 pc running Windows 7, and connecting to the internet with a CellC speedstick
1 pc running Windows XP
1 laptop running Windows 7
1 Mega 100WR ADSL router used as a hub to connect the 3 machines. The ADSL is no longer used; the two pc's are connected to it by ethernet cable and the laptop via wireless.
So far, so good; all three machines can see and ping the other two, as well as ping the hub (10.0.0.2)
I have set his up as a "work network" in Windows 7; I cannot use the Home group facilty as one machine is on XP.
Now, my problem is that although the main machine connects via the CellC speedstick to the internet without problem, and the connection is set up for Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), the other two simply cannot see the connection and obtain internet access.
I've spent the past few days on Google, disabled and uninstalled and then re-installed all the connections, verified that IPv4 is activated, that Client for Microsoft Networks is activated.
Should this setup be possible? Any idea how to get it to work?
