Windows 7 is finally dying

At long last, Windows 7 users are beginning to drop the operating system in favour of newer versions.

This trend is reflected in the latest data from NetMarketShare, which shows that the adoption of Windows 10 continues to increase as more Windows 7 users heed Microsoft's warning regarding the operating system's impending loss of support.

You can stick to Win 7 for eternity if you want. Just don't connect to the internet.

"We are declaring Windows 7 dead in preparation for a May 2019 RTM release" - Microsoft.

Bill would still be very rich if he gave 80 percent of his wealth to charity.
Millions could go to charity if he could persuade Microsoft to sell Windows 7 again.

Microsoft also added this warning with today’s announcement saying that 20H1 builds are from the development branch (RS_PRERELEASE) and “may contain bugs that might be painful for some.”

And therein lies the problem. Not all of these get sorted out properly before they release the update.

I don't see a correlation. It would certainly seem Win7 users aren't leaving it for Win10 or vice versa. Faulty data perhaps and not much has happened in the last year?

Windows 10 regularly screws up on my machine.
Only reason I don't load 7 is because manufacturers refused to release drivers for it.
If the software I need ran on linux, I would drop windows 10 in a heartbeat.
Hate is too kind a word.
