Afaik it has been released to system builders? But the actual retail release to the public is only on thw 22

What da func is a system builder? Company that build's Pc or what? Dell etc,,

Some people obviously get things early. The company most likely has a close relationship with ms.

The fact's are no retailer is selling the product to the public till 22 October since that's the world wide release date.

Ok now I seem to get it. Company is a Gold Partner - hence they will get it earlier.

22 Oct is for all the public stores.

What does 2 CPUs mean, it can be installed on 2 separate machines?

2 CPUs means that the OS will support two physical processors, e.g. 2 x Quad cores.

Gold partners and OVL partners have had Windows 7 for a few weeks now. Running the full version now and its really cool.

So far the winner is Take 2! I genuinely like Prophecy, but lately their prices have been higher than other retailer. Take2 has undercut them by R100 on every single copy of Win7 DSP/Retail.

Yeah TakeTwo has some really nice pricing. I went with prophecy due to having quite a few coupons which meant I got it for a lot less.
