Windows 7

Im considering loading that slow Chrome, but im thinking this isn't a specific Browser issue and sumtn else rather...

LOL....stop drinking the cheap stuff.

In initial tests of the first Chrome 4 on our physical Windows XP SP3-based test platform, the browser scored a record 20.09 on our Betanews performance index, representing over 20 times the speed of Internet Explorer 7 on Windows Vista, running on the same machine. Improvements in JavaScript execution this round were only minor, but rendering speed continues to improve, although the latest Apple Safari 4 browser remains the fastest renderer in our test suite (4.53 versus 4.48).

Hi Guys.

Just thought I'd share that I'm busy downloading an original version of Windows 7 Ultimate and I already have my license from the Microsoft Partner Subscription :D

Can't wait for this 3gb download at 20kb/s a sec to finish :p

Regards

Itai

like watching paint dry ... only this must be more fun?

I had an IE8 problem which was caused by installing a really old (1999) Creative web cam. I restored to a point prior to the creative install, confirmed that ie8 worked correctly, made a backup of the whole registry, once again installed creative (problems reappeared) the restored the registry. Got a whole bunch of error/warning that various items couldn't be restored, which I ignored, as all I wanted to do was replace any pre-existant entries which were changed by creative.

I now have a working web cam and IE8.

Maybe trying something along these lines will help you.

hmmm...Trouble is, i have zero peripherals that i installed drivers for.
But i'll take your advice n give my registry a scan for issues.
Thank you.

Thanks man

None of my links in IE's Favorites Bar work. My links came from the previous Vista64, repointed. Haven't had the time to resolve this issue. Anyone else with the same issue?
