Windows 8 Networking

I need help...

I bought a new printer that is wireless, so I need to create a network for the printer to connect to. Can't. I've created 4 or 5 networks already, they just disappear and the PC doesn't connect to them and I can't find them

Okay, after some research I found that apparently Microsoft has removed the function to create ad hoc networks in Windows 8.

So basically I can't setup a network to connect my printer to.

Any help regarding this issue?
