Wonder if anyone can help me, the bigger companies dont want to sell us volume licenses without support contracts and it looks like Microsoft does nor offer something for windows like office 365.

Its a small 5 person company but dont want to fork out R3000+ each for Windows licenses, would rather pay a monthly fee or something like that.

Not sure what the options are, any advice would be appreciated...

Thanks

Phone Immix, tell the sales guys you want to start an Open Value agreement over 3 years, buy your OS/Office licenses through them or MS using that OV agreement.
They do Service Contracts or Ad Hoc agreements so shouldn't be a problemo

Just for info, I had a look at prices for Windows 8 Professional DSP at Esquire and it works out to R8716 for 5 copies. Not super cheap but there's the advantage of a once-off payment as opposed to paying monthly subs.

Reason I like the OV agreements - free upgrades for new software versions if you opted for Software Assurance

Ex: 2013 released just near the end of your OV agreement, you can get keys and downloads for upgrading to 2013 as long as your Software Assurance is current
