Hi

I just bought a HP N54L Proliant microserver and installed WHS 2011 DSP.

Have temporarily installed a 500GB and 320GB drives in addition to 250GB OS drive.

I managed to install WHS 2011 but when trying to connect pc's running Windows XP Service Pack 3 the error message appears that the pc cannot be verified and the date and time must be checked.

Server and PCs are all on Harare Pretoria time.

Any guidance?

Same time. And also set to same time server and time zone.

Linked via wifi, not sure that should be a factor. Netgear router with a Linksys WES610 bridge.

error screenshot in first post. By conect I mean linking xp pc to WHS 2011 server.

Update:
I can detect HP server on network via bubbleupnp. Thus a microsoft issue I assume.

As can be seen its on the network but the Windows XP clients dont connect to the WHS 2011 server.

Renewed certificates but still problem.

After search via Bing search engine it seems best solution is to reinstall WHS 2011.

Luckily havent got any data at risk yet. In fact feel like reinstalling whole network

If you haven't done so, ensure that all machines are fully patched. This will entail checking for updates until there aren't any more.

Is your pc's dns pointing to the servers ip address?

Regularly auto update but will verify. WHS also updated.

Despite reloading still a problem connecting xp desktops to WHS on hp proliant n54l

Update
Server visible on network and internet connected. Serviio visible. But cant link xp desktop to server.

Try using manual IP's. Worked for me when I used Home Server.

Have you added the PC to the server's domain?
