I see that home server does not include AD. Howtogeek shows a way you can learn to do it

Got this but will try again. Somehow both on same network via router but yet their own whs 2011 homegroup vs xp workgroup I think.

Serviio on hpn54l visible and usable. Also on my main pc visible but not connecting via the connector software so unable to use the backup and other services of a server. Must maybe get a windows phone for remote access other than serviio.

Installed windows 7 pro on my pc
Cannot activate remote management on WHS 2011.
Yet I can see there is a device HPN54L serviio on win 7 pc!

Yes but to get win 10 must have 7 or 8 loaded. Its a hpn54l server so merely using as media server and backup.

Already have a 8.1 pro key. Anybody with a win 7 as my win 7 already on main pc and registered for win 10.
