Hi

we have a client who has about 30 computers that were connected to an 2008 SBS server. We upgraded to server 2016 standard last week. Since then the pc's are shutting down at night and the users have to come in and press the power buttons to boot. I have been through all the power settings on the desktops, set all the power scheme's to max performance, adjusted the sleep and hibernate settings to never, rebooted after the changes. Nothing helps, the problem is a few of them remote in to their computers either after hours or over a weekend but now they can't. This only started since we added them to the 2016 server domain. I have hunted and can't seem to find what is causing this.

Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

The latest trend in Microsoft is a nonsence auto updating. I didn't know it was also implanted in 2016 server. What is workstation OS in question?

I am surprised you don't use group policy in your department.
